WARNING: DO NOT APPLY WHILE MOTOR IS RUNNING!
1. Clean area to be repaired thoroughly. When outside temperature is below 70˚F, preheat
by running motor until metal is quite warm to the touch. When temperature is over 70˚F,
preheating is not necessary. Remove and discard brown paper. Peel off and discard clear
plastic backing from both sides of patch.
2. Wrap Tiger Patch® firmly around damaged area overlapping 1” to give double layer. For
HOT areas, place piece of aluminum can or foil over hole before wrapping. For initial
support, wrap tape or string tightly around both ends and center of repair.
3. Idle motor or drive vehicle for 20 minutes. Tiger Patch® becomes a permanent part of
your muffler or tailpipe, sealing itself with the heat of the exhaust from your car or truck.
