Gasket Sealant Type 1 is a fast-drying viscous paste that forms a hard, semi-flexible, leakproof seal. Use it to seal and repair gaskets, flanges, fittings, threaded connections, and many other assemblies.

3Pressure Resistance: Up to 5100 psi (360 kg/cm2).

4Liquid Resistance: Gasoline, oil, kerosene, water, steam, fuel oil, alkalis, salt solutions,lubricants, grease, antifreeze mixtures, synthetic oil and mild acids.

5NOTE: To remove sealant from hands, use isopropyl alcohol or denatured alcohol.

Use for Permanent Assemblies and ThreadedConnections

Directions:
1. Clean surfaces thoroughly.
2. Pierce top and apply a thin, even film to both mating surfaces.
3. Allow to air dry until material becomes “tacky.”
4. Assemble and tighten into position.
5. Wipe excess clean.
